Terms of Use

Last updated: March 2026

By reserving or renting a vehicle from Mirage Motors, you legally agree to abide by the terms outlined in this agreement. The rental period officially commences when the vehicle keys are handed over and concludes when the vehicle is returned, inspected, and signed off.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your use of the Mirage Motors services and the rental of any vehicles. You confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these legal terms before driving away.

2. Driver Requirements

To ensure the safety of our clients and assets, Mirage Motors enforces strict eligibility criteria:

  • Renters must be at least 21 years old for luxury sedans/SUVs, and 25 years old for supercars.
  • UAE residents must present a valid UAE driving license.
  • Tourists require a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) along with their original domestic license.
  • All driving licenses must have been issued at least 6 months prior to the rental date.

3. Payments & Deposits

A pre-authorization security deposit is mandatory prior to the handover of any vehicle. This acts as a guarantee against traffic fines, Salik (toll) charges, and minor undocumented damages.

  • Deposits are blocked on a valid physical credit card matching the renter's name.
  • The deposit amount ranges from AED 2,000 to AED 10,000 depending on the vehicle class.
  • Deposits are released within 21-30 business days post-rental, minus any incurred fines.

4. Vehicle Use & Limits

Mirage Motors provides pristine, high-performance vehicles. To maintain this standard, the following restrictions strictly apply:

  • A standard limit of 250km per day applies unless otherwise stated. Excess mileage is billed per kilometer.
  • Vehicles are strictly prohibited from crossing the UAE borders under any circumstances.
  • Vehicles must not be used for track racing, off-roading, dune bashing, or any illegal activities.

5. Insurance & Liability

All Mirage Motors vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance. However, in the event of any damage, accident, or scratch, a valid UAE Police Report is absolutely mandatory. If the renter fails to provide a police report, the insurance is voided, and the renter assumes 100% financial liability for all repair costs.

6. Fines & Salik

The renter is fully responsible for all traffic fines, parking tickets, and Salik toll charges incurred during the exact time frame of the rental. Salik charges are billed at AED 5.25 per crossing and will be deducted directly from the security deposit.
